Everyone has opinions. My opinion is that this Company has far more Pros than Cons. I will list the Cons. Old Trucks, High premium on Medical Insurance. I am paid a good hourly hourly wage from the time I start my pre-trip until I end my post trip every day. This doesn't mean 2 hours @ Walmart, but is does mean if I'M working, I'M getting my hourly wage. ALL time Driving, Fueling, Unloading, Repairs etc. ALL TIME!! Their Philosophy is, If a Driver is running Regional, that driver has to be paid a good hourly wage to make a good living. There is simply not enough miles running regional to be paid mileage and make a decent living. This is what I was told when I hired on 9 months ago.

I have been driving for almost 30 years and drove for a lot of Companies in that time. Johnsrud is by far the best Company for me. For you nay Sayers that are fixing to blast me because you read a thread to where I was fixing to hire on with IRT, you are absolutely correct. I quit Johnsrud because I thought the grass was greener elsewhere. I realized I had made a mistake by quitting so I came back to Johnsrud. I came back and it was if I had never left. Insurance and Seniority all still in place. Insurance was a little tough to keep, but Doug in the HR Dept was able to pull it off.

Yes I'M driving an Old Truck and paying out the wazoo for Family Coverage but I also know that if I have a problem with this Old Truck, it will be taken care of and my pay keeps on keepin' on. As far as the high premium for Insurance, There's enough money to be made to cover that too and still say , I make a good living for my family.

If it works for you who cares what all the super truckers think. There is no perfect company out here as everyone has a different set of must haves to be happy. Good luck

What are they paying an hour these days? Are they still running up to Canafa?

You have to ask them what your rate will be. Based on experience.

Do they make you take a physical fitness evaluation or have you heard of anyone having to take one? I am overweight and older and couldn't pass one for a job I applied for but I load & unload this tanker I haul!
