Carter Express

Hebron is kinda a new terminal shared with Toyota. I know the terminal manager...great guy and have helped out on a few of his runs in between the runs my team mate and I do out of Vandalia. He has some good ones from the few I have covered.

 

I hear they do but never ran anything out of there. Just call and find out

 

It really is but they do not put up with drivers that like to speed and be general idiots on the road.
At Carter it is a two way street...we expect good pay...runs and whatnot and they expect good...professional drivers that respect their rules as well as the laws applied to driving and they play no favorites...Example they had a driver who had been there like 10 years....he got caught texting while driving and he was gone. For most of us no texting or no holding a phone while driving is common sense but to some...not so much.
Carter is doing hiring now because they just got even more contracts.
It blows my mind that so many companies have the potential to be like Carter where the drivers are happy...the customers are happy and everyone profits but instead they keep on keeping on with ...crap loads..crap treatment by the company....crap pay....so they end up like Swift and any other mega cheap freight carriers that are losing customers until eventually they will have nothing.

 

Heck no and the say they will never use them.
I understand he was ticketed and I seem to recall another was seen by a Carter staff.
