Food service or LTL if you like being home every day or at least most days. Food service is hard work but you should do at least a 1000 a week after taxes on the low side
Rusty Trawler Thanks this. -
I was thinking the same thing
Sysco or US Best for what he wants -
Full Benefits, if you mean fully paid, you are probably looking at a Union Job which means LTL or Food Service for the most part.
rabbiporkchop and Rusty Trawler Thank this. -
I've been ticketed for double parking, parking in turn lanes and getting busted coming back to the truck with lunch etc, not misdemeanors. Just parking tickets, a Police written one, not like the meter maid type but not "crimes" either. I'd like to know exactly what he was ticketed for myself.

6 months? hmm... Not too shabby.
Let's do this one year or even better 2 years and we will talk again.
The reason I say this is because everyone who owns a bunch of trucks refuse to look at job hoppers and those who quit or move inside a year. The more time you put into a company for better or worse 2, 3 5 years practically makes you a old hand and a very valued one at that.
If you have problems with anyone, FIX IT before that little lit match between you two becomes a great fire that make sure you are in ashes and sackcloth. -
Tickets in trucking for parking at one time was outrageous but as long your ### is not present when they start writing there is no foul. Sorta.
I was in the 76 off 78 in Jersey, about the 8 exit when 4 local police stood at my rig's door because it ws parked on the dirt shoulder for overflow parking while leaning on a number of no parking signs. I ate my dinner starting with salad then through to desert and coffee with smoke watching them wait two hours. Went out there, got the verbal abuse, tickets (Plural) and a jackboot in my arse. Paid the ticket (40 some dollars) and left there. I would return there for many years but not any more trouble.Rusty Trawler Thanks this. -
