they sold us on telling us that they were in dire need for teams to run thier hershey loads from edwardsville to carlisle as many trips we could make in a week that happened the first two weeks we were with them, they did tell us they had columbia freightliners but didnt mention they were automatics and only go 63 mph also said they were 90% drop and hook but this week we must be the other 10% so needless to say we have no miles because we have been sitting at docks loading and unloading and with dispatchers playing games because we questioned the hershey loads that we were told we would be running. as for teams DEFINITLY DONT DO IT

It seems like every trucking company is full of the same bull, and when you move to different jobs, they all ask why
Well the reason is that they lied to you cause if they told everyone the truth they would have no drivers. Its one big game that we as drivers are never gonna win. God bless us all
sgt slaughter, Veteran driver, diesel drinker and 2 others Thank this. -
You'll need to find a true team company,
I never knew Buske to be that team orientated. -
I quit Buske in June of 2010 after only making something like 11,000 dollars in 6 months. The Kenworths are miserably small to live in as I was out countless weekends living in this tiny truck with no storage many times with no load for the weekend and no compensation for sitting either. I started with a new company and made 7 thousand dollars in 5 weeks at the end of the year. Buske has contracted Hershey loads and they take all the short stuff while Shaffer and others take the long hauls so you have many days where you do 180 miles for the day, then you sit weekends and they don't seem to care whether you run or not.
At Buske, you make no money and you are out weekends and holidays. I was out over July 4th and made 120 dollars over 5 days working and babysitting their truck in New Jersey. Not exactly fun stuff. Miserable. -
A trucking company, DECEITFUL??? Well, I never...
Trucking companies are like politicians, who are all liars... if they told the truth, they'd never be elected.
diesel drinker, Stormy 69, rocknroll nik and 1 other person Thank this. -

I know this is 6 years old but had a buske story wanted to share. happened 97-98 I drove for Henderson trucking and the head of recruiting there (chuck) took the same job at buske. turned out he took a bunch of driver with him most didn't last 6 months some came back. he didn't last a year with buske screwed up somehow and begged for his job back at Henderson big Jon told him he was never going to work in the office for him again and the only job he had for him was a driver for a small company he just bought. (hays transportation) the last time I saw him he was driving for hays lol...

Is Buske even still around?
-
I thunk they were bought by Gordon/Heartland.

Best team team companies are JB Hunt and FedEx
