Biggest truck I've ran was a 4x4 5500 GMC Duramax. Pride service body and 5k lb Cobra crane. Definitely miss that truck. I still see it around once in a while.

A neighbor is a driller for Nabors and he said they are doing a lot of maintenance on the rigs stacked in the yards. I hope they're getting amped up for a big push.

Lepton1, frt60 and bzinger Thank this.

I can tell you that we have sure been busy lately with frac sand. Lots of other companies as well. Looks like '14 again when I roll into a sand plant and have to wait 2-3 hours to get loaded cuz there's a line of 15 trucks ahead of me.

Just because they are busy loading sand doesn't mean the rates are worthwhile. I'd be curious to see what the rates are like nowadays

The rigs moving from one yard in Pa to Tx yard were Nabors by the way

Rates are still down. You can make a living at it but you have to stay busy. Not like a couple years ago when you could work 2-3 days a week and still pay the bills.

Stevens is hiring hotshots outta alva ok at $20/hr guaranteed 40/week. That's good wages for a hotshot.

Well boys the pipe just came off here in Casper and the mood of the guys that unloaded me was jubilant.
They said they started working over time the day after the election.
My pipe came off my trailer and before I could get my dunnage chained they were reloading it on one of they're trucks .
4 more loads of pipe came in after me .

i hope that is driving their(Stevens) trucks, if it's $20 an hour and your supplying the truck, fuel, insurance and everything else that goes with it then it absolutely sucks.
