Only thing is, that if I'm desperate enough to stop at the type of joint where they call out your name OR a number, to come pick up your food, I'd be way to desperate to screw with the staff there.....I'd just give my name, (using a think accent of course,) as Mr. Ah ummhow you say doublez, w (no problem with that one,) i, (having much trouble making them understand i,) pe, eh......:D

40 yards to the outhouse. Was a pretty good book.

Seems like I P Freely was the author.
    Illustrations by Willie Makeit
Betty Don't I believe was the publisher

It just dawned on me why they ask for your name. I was at a Burger King in Fort Stockton Tx. They didn't ask for my name, just went by order numbers. After almost twenty five minutes and fed up with waiting I demanded my money back.

The last straw was that they were calling ready orders seven digits past mine. It's obvious that when they use your name, they think you won't be able to keep track of the sequence of orders.

When I'm in a pack of slip holders and a name or number is finally called I always say (loudly) congratulations! And shake their hand like they just won the lottery.
I like to openly shame the staff.

Cheaper, and probably less likely to get food poisoning, or other virus from uncooked food. I found it cost effective to buy a microwave, 3000 watt inverter, 12 cup coffee maker, and even carry a small grill, and medium cooler in the summer time. Buying groceries at either Wally World, or Sams Club.
