Good Afternoon. I recently got my AZ license in Ontario and looking for truck driving. Can anyone suggest a good online resource or job board in Canada which is specific to trucking?

You can check out all the truck magazines like Truck News. Over the Road is all job ads. They have an electronic version on their site. Classifieds like Kijiji have postings as well just beware of scams!

indeed.ca is another online resource, but the best resources are...

Get out there and pound the pavement, knock on doors and introduce yourself as an eager and competent new driver... you just might be surprised with the results.

Thanks all. I will check these resources.

I also found https://www.driverlink.com/ Driverlink. One of my friend suggested....just downloaded their app on my iphone. They seem to be focussing only on truck driver jobs...anybody else used it before?

Talk with drivers. Find out how they like working for their company. Drivers are the best resource for info on a prospective employer. Recruiters will lie, steal and cheat to get you aboard.

I agree. Head on down to a company terminal with a resume and fill out an application in person. I've applied for dozens of jobs online and never heard a word back ever. I walk in and talk to the guy in charge and if I'm not hired on the spot, I usually hear back from them within the next week or so.

Yeah if you're based in Ontario DriverLink is a great site for job postings.

    Best of luck Ajay04.

I dont know if your looking for local or long haul, but there are some great choices for new drivers out there.
As a new AZ driver I drove for Schneider for 2 years and I thinks a great place to start your career, also one of the other guys that post on this board sounded like he got a great start as a new driver with Kriska.
