Well my journey with Walmart has come to an end today. I got a call from corporate saying that the accident that happened almost 9 years ago that was ruled non-preventable by my then employer and I was not cited for by the state police has made me ineligible for employment. Hell the only reason the accident was considered a DOT recordable was because I elected to be towed in because after being hit by another truck my rear trailer axle was bent and I didn't feel it was safe to pull the trailer myself. So the fact that I was trying to be safe cost me a shot at working for the safest fleet in trucking. It would be funny if it weren't so asinine.

 

Not trying to hijack your post. I need help trying to get hired on as OTR driver for Walmart. What are the procedures on doing so
