If you follow the job ads you'll see Halliburton is desperately looking for wireline hands in TX, WY, ND, etc...which tells me they're getting ready to open up these wells that were TA'd before things went bust.

That and the number of Nabors job ads is enough for me to know something is going on cause Nabors AIN'T spending a dime on getting a rig ready until they have a contract tender in place.

I think most of the majors with acreage in the sweet zones are still gonna test until they get enough data to go back to their development teams and start assessing estimates for stakeholders.

At that point once its sustains $50/bbl I've heard it's on.

And then that 4$/hr less will be going away cause most of these companies with their hand in the pot aren't planning to cut their own throat cause they can't keep good hands.

Steel is bouncing back too. The steel mill today was hopping. Twice as many trucks there today than there has been on a normal day in the past few months.

Gotta be honest I really didnt see this coming at all and as I said a few weeks ago I was going to call it a day I was so disgusted.
Then I bought the Columbia which I'm not putting on the road until January and dam near backed on it and kept the classic but already had it sold so gotta keep my word .
This turn has given me a much more positive tude and called my shop today and told em pull the Columbia in and start goin thru it .

We're busy right now, most every truck working through or at least one day this weekend and customers moving a lot of material before end of year. We will be busy for a while. Also had 3 people apply for my empty truck today. Hopefully 1 of them will work out.

Ruthless, bzinger and MJ1657 Thank this.
