Yes they did, chain setup or the classic style high side is a lot lower and stacks a lot better on the bottom rear.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking that same thought @Hammer166
If I were in the position to be able to get a strap trailer I would for certain get the one with the manual ramps on that back bottom position.

    Hammer166 Thanks this.

Hammer when I unload the bottom deck I use my dump valve to keep from getting too close on image.png low pro cars. I had thought about installing flippers like I had on my Allied rig in this photo. Wonder if it would be worth the trouble?

I have them on my trailer and use them all the time.. Granted mine is a chain trailer . It keeps you from having to slide the bottom rear back n forth. It also makes the transition much better when loading the bottom since the deck is slid out. With it slid out as you know it puts the rear of that deck closer to the ground. The only issue you might would run into is it affecting were the strap would hook in?

    Hammer166 and Banker Thank this.

You don't want to do that. Boss ordered ours that way, trying to save some weight, and it really sucks trying to get out the door, especially since that post is further back.

With a dump, not sure you'd gain anything, unless you load the top under #5 on a regular basis. That's where I thought they were most useful.

    Banker Thanks this.
