You can't use PC well under load otherwise people would use it to squeeze in more miles. Same thing if a company tells you to head north because they might have a new load for you.

Carrying your lodging with you is not "going from" It's just that, carrying it with you.
But like I said, I'd do it if the company don't have an issue with it.
