    It's kind of like a fifth wheel puller. People use them to do something that is just as easy to do by hand. In this case, roll up straps.

    And i have a 5th wheel puller, but i use it for fishing crane straps through freight...

    They are also good for when that chain does not quite get over far enough for you to reach it on the other side. Not that I would know anything about that though.

    I average three or four loads a week, with anywhere from 8 to 18 straps per load. I'll bet I can get my straps rolled up faster and more neatly than most folks using the strap to roller.

    In the interest of honesty, I have one too. I use it for pulling chains that didn't go all the way under a load that needs to be wrapped. Or for fishing tire chains at times.

    Ill take a pic sometime and get your approval.. :) faster? Not likely, but i wouldn't be any kind of driver ifin i didn't think i was better n you
