Starting a dump truck buisness in florida

I didn't lose 50k on the truck I lost 50k in overhead and down time

 

Good luck it's the best decision.

 

After realizing that it doesn't pay much I can't imagine why anyone would want to start a company doing something that doesn't pay much to the truck.

 

When I started I had friends grossing 700-1,000 a day but of course when I started that went away minus a few days I grossed $900 but then the average became $4-600 gross and that's when #### went south.

 

So did you start gettin paid by the ton or jobs were you sat? I bet it was asphalt work.

It was 99% by the ton and few jobs here and there were by the hour at $55. You just needed to run your ### non stop with 20,others on the same job and dirty ### transphos made sure you only made about $500 per day gross. And they were constantly cutting rates. The only job I've ever seen where the more you do the less they pay you. And you didn't know what the job paid until 3 weeks later when you got your check!

There a trucking company. They have a bunch of company trucks that run phosphate 24/7 365 for mosaic and also have 300 plus owner op dump trucks for construction and phosphate
