I have and really didnt see much about rbx
-
I see, yeah I don't know anything about either one of those companies. I'm sure someone will come along and help you out.
vegaskid Thanks this. -
I've never heard of rbx. That can be a good thing or not; it's usually only unhappy drivers that have enough idle time to comment on specific companies, here, but larger companies also get more attention than smaller ones. US Express is pretty big, so it's likely to get attention. If rbx is similarly big, and not getting so much attention, then they may have less unhappy drivers. If they're a lot smaller, then they may just not be big enough to get on the radar...
As a rule, no news is good news, since drivers that are too busy to complain are usually happy drivers - but that's not a guarantee. Good news, after all, is still better than no news...

How long is training at US Express? Just looked at the RBX website, 8 weeks is a long time to train imo. But non-forced dispatch would be nice, and .40cpm isn't shabby. I'd call and ask what equipment they add to the trucks, having a fridge and apu+inverter will save you a ton of money on the road.

More training time often means better training, but typically only if training time is paid time. No amount of classroom training will actually teach you to drive the truck; you need time on the road with a trainer, to actually learn how to perform the tasks of the job, and a little time is generally not enough. I'd say that 8 weeks with a trainer on the truck, is probably too little - but 8 weeks in a classroom without pay, would likely be too much...
US Express has a decent reputation, as training companies go, but that's not saying much. Most training companies are pretty awful... :-/ -
Rbx has about 200 trucks and basically just run the midwest
-
I have experience , a few years so i wouldnt have to go through the training program. i guess i know more about us express but not so much about RBX as ive never seen there trucks out on the road. i appreciate your guys opinions is why im asking. thought maybe someone from RBX might be on today

Be the 1st and report back... If it doesn't work then go over to US Express.
