lol I see this too. They are all greasy and disgusting and they don't care. They walk around like pig pen from Charlie Brown.
I absolutely hate that vest, I never wear unless I have to in order to get my paperwork signed. Then it goes back in the side box.

Since when I just left the Dallas OC this morning and there's no signs posted up there saying anything
-
My wife was told to put one on by the fuel nazi. She said I'm an IC, and he said so? Douche. I called my ICA and was told the rules are about to change, and right now if there is a vest on the gate of an oc you have to wear one.
I went in to take a shower and nothing was said to me, so maybe they are selectively enforcing it?
-
This is where Schneider could get in trouble with classification... They keep trying to separate us but yet they know they want us to wear the same thing the employees have to wear... I'm wondering if that's just some office person trying to act like they're big shot

I was that earlier and there's no way any shipper/rcvr will stop me from doing what I want in the cab of my truck. I have a refrigerator, microwave, and tons of store bought food. I'll chew away. I'd be tempted to take a large bite of a sandwich, walk right into the lobby, and chew LOUDLY.MACK E-6, CaptainDaveG, Cledus Snow and 1 other person Thank this.

Was there any caption? Why would they try to tell me that I can't eat, is it a chemical plant with containment issues?

I did the same when I was in intermodal...put it on going in the gate, immediately took it off when leaving out of the gate. If I wanted to wear one of those all the time, I'd work for ODOT lolChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
I'll try to find the post.... It was a food plant in CA I think

It's just a insurance deal that started in the construction industry over ten years ago when a construction worker flicked a cigarette down a trash shoot, caught a dumpster on fire and burned a quarter of a downtown city on fire. When I first started in this industry I threw my hard hat and safety vest in the trash to mark a new beginning. It followed me here.lol. It's just a thing. I do agree this should not be a fashion statement. Nothing worse than walking inside a Walmart and seeing nothing but a sea of bright green and orange on every mother, daughter, sister and brother.
