No, you're definitely not the first. And the odds are good that you are, indeed, performing better.
My concern is that you made a seven bullet list which screams 'Look how reckless I've been!'... after only a week.Lepton1, Rusty Trawler and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Sadly my life is real as the sun and moon.
Also my trainer is really nice, just that I get performance anxiety. -
Just drive the truck. It sounds stupid but that's what my trainer would say to me after I'd get flustered from missing a shift or something little like that. Then I'd miss another one because I was still thinking about the first mistake. Eventually he didn't have to tell me anymore because I would think it to myself. Mistakes happen and life goes on. You're going to have to figure out how to calm yourself down before you get into some real trouble.
x1Heavy and KillingTime Thank this. -
Very good. No butchered words. I'm proud of you.
As far as the goof ups just try to learn from em.
Good luck - it ain't easyDumdriver, Lepton1, Rusty Trawler and 1 other person Thank this. -
I focused on the trainer and possible mental issues, which might disqualify you from continuing on. You wont be the first.
What I did not deal with is the original post with the butchered grammar. I could not decide if you are talking about this lane or that lane etc literally a threat to the public. And would be very stupid to try and teach you about each of those bullet points.
The crowd is correct. Even if they are being hard on you. You have got to shake off the bull and grow a pair to become a trucker. Believe you me if someone who have NEVER touched a truck tried to post as one, even posing as a trainee for entertainment, that person will be detected awful quick.
There are certain things that we expect of anyone and everyone inside a big truck. You had a taste of some of those things. The Industry is very good at preventing nutcases and crazies or terrorists from getting a hold of a big truck. And some of my worst days out there involved saving who knows how many lives and no one will know about it or care since nothing happened except for a scrape here and there and quite a bit of rubber left on the pavement. -
You guys are getting trolled hard
HotH2o, Dumdriver, Bob Dobalina and 2 others Thank this. -
Possibly.
Im finished here anyway., There is no evolving or additional information or even corrections coming from OP. In any rate I have nothing else to do today except hold hands of weepy beta males who will not own the 18 wheeler and make everything that is in view his.AM14, KillingTime, Blackshack46 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yep. He could have the bleeding hearts volunteering for a circle jerk before they know it.Dumdriver, AM14 and lagbrosdetmi Thank this.
