This is the industry my friend..... Being murdered and slaughtered by foreign immigrants who in turn send the money back overseas instead of spending it here.

    We are all doomed.

I am not sure if people, policies or certain situations have changed, but I have to admit I have not experienced too much negativity working for Musket. Grant it, I am as new as one can get. (only 2 runs to Montreal in the bag so far) but the process has been good thus far.

I was given a decent VNL630, 40## number series (leaving the last out obviously lol) When I got it, the truck was very clean inside out, smelled very pleasing. Most items and parts inside were in excellent shape (except for the small items I have posted on this site looking for) and runs very nicely.

Went out to Montreal tandem behind an experienced driver the first run, but encountered a repair issue on the second run where I was alone. Chassis had an air issue, which I have to say, Musket was very quick to get on it and get me repaired and rolling again in less then a couple of hours downtime in Montreal.

When I got to the repair center Musket sent me to, the repair center said "sorry, we just closed, you have to wait till morning." This wasn't good enough for Musket, so they called someone else to get to me and had me rolling quickly back to Toronto.

I do get it, it's not dry vans, it's containers, so there's a significant amount of additional work and effort being put into a normal driving day then hauling a dry van. So far each concern I have had, which has been minimal, was addressed quickly and dispatchers have been very respectful to drivers from what I have seen. If I do experience shortfalls or issues, I will be sure to follow up as well as address them to Musket.

I work for them and if you're a new driver, they will not give you a new truck. If you have seen how many damaged trucks there are with replacement parts and things, you'll realize it's the retard drivers wrecking everything they touch. The company just won't dump money into a truck that people continue to wreck.

"Hole in the floor". Yeah, there's a hole in the floor the driver never reported. Do you realize most drivers don't know a hole in the floor from the hole in their own rear end? It's not the company not repairing reasonable issues. It's the drivers destroying the equipment and not reporting it because they're at fault. The driver probably tore up the rubber floor and it rotted out. lol.

The lazy f n b#stards won't even change chassis lights. I deal with it day in and day out. The company will only repair safety-related issues or when the body part is missing.. If it's just damaged, they won't replace it because they know the driver will trash it over and over again.
