The '85 in my signature is the one I totaled. Come around a S curve had a young mother texting and her girls standing in the front seat. Their car was on my fog line. I don't remember making the choice, or how I missed them. I rode 520 feet between the highway and river levee on the edge of small trees. One of the steers hit a stump which turned me hard left and landed me in the opposite ditch big enough to swallow my truck. They didn't stop. Though the trooper that worked my wreck had her stopped when he was dispatched to my deal.

20 years 3 months and 10 days is how long I had had it. Met my wife in a sale barn cafe driving that truck. It put my wife mostly through college, and all the way through law school. Lots a late night flights burning cow truck lights for sure. I kept what's left many say fix it but wouldn't be enough of the original truck to call mine. Bought a 379 to replace it, hope it's as good to us as MAMA CRIED was.

If you got lots of stone chips polishing will make them real noticeable. I just used a da sander with wet sand paper for a satin finish.

You did the right thing, and you'll be blessed for it. Hopefully that young lady learns how to drive before she gets somebody killed.

Now you can stand up to get dressed in the mornings. Lol.

    What year 379? 3406B?

Yes sir a B is all I know. It's a 91 model, has a factory 460hp 5YG that I unpeeced for its previous owner. 15 over and 3:36 rears. It isn't my lil red 359 by any means but I'm happy with it. IMG_20161121_092400.jpg

Dang good lookin' rig, specially with that black wagon behind it. I'll be lookin' for it, but I don't expect you run in my stompin' ground much (Oklahoma, Texas panhandle mostly).

Keep 'er against the dash, buddy.
