New to the business. Hired someone and he obviously needs lots of training on logbook which I have scheduled and paid for another course that he shows he complete. Is there an app or program where I can enter fuel times and origin and destination to configure logbooks from the previous month? They are a mess! Help!
Help with previous logs.

Help! I need an app or program to check logs and to complete previous logbooks based on fuel times, etc. Is there such a thing? Please help!

You just need a pen. Look at the fuel receipt, see the time, date, and location, and then make your log show that you were there in that city, buying fuel, at that time.

Not with this one... It's pretty much impossible... He cheats completely.

That's what I am doing but it would make it so much easier.

Humm... headed down a road that could cause an accident...

Gotta love these people that whine about elogs (not op's post, but likely) when they are the reason for the elog mandate to begin with.
Here's a hint. Drive legal and you will not need to worry about making the logs look right!G13Tomcat, CrappieJunkie and UsualSuspect Thank this. -
I guess I should have been clear. This guy has been put on probation... And we are putting him through another training course... Even thou he passed his throuhh Trucking school. Since my husband drives I am looking for an app so I can check it to ensure it is done correctly in the future and so I can ensure his previous logs look OK once he redoes them...

So this "guy" drives for you? He could be leading your company into serious trouble. If he is put OOS for log violations it could cost you loads and income.
If he "cheats" now, he will still probably cheat after this training course.
It should not fall back on you to "build" his logs after the fact.
I would seriously rethink his employment with your fleet.
There are logging programs out there that can be done on a Phone or electronic device, but then he has to have the ability to print in the truck if so asked.
It will be hard to figure out his prior logs just based upon fuel receipts. Do you run PrePass, if so his times will be recorded with scales also.
It sounds like you have a loose cannon on your hands and if he causes a serious accident it could put your livelihood in the drain financially..magoo68 Thanks this. -
Just put him on elogs lol
