popping a final and the audio chip is not blowing up a radio there chuckles. stinger drops on a antenna and Jack's up your swrs and you don't realize it in time what would you expect... I'm not perfect at least I can admit that....unlike you mr.perfect cb radio antenna god.... as far as talking about the 25 mile trucker well in your neck of the woods its one of the only places you can hear mark almost all the time if he's on the airways.... told ya before up in your area I talked to a man 35 miles away from me.. my magnum his uniden grant xl... him in his suv and me in the big truck you don't remember things too well do ya. just like talking about my amp that was the second go round about it.... your good for a foo foo fight... but it's beyond old to me...... a uniden grant xl now that was a excellent radio back in the day.... with everything set up correctly......

If it takes more than 4 watts to talk 30 miles, you have an antenna problem.
