1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Marine veteran with almost 6 years experience otr. Experienced with flat, reefer/van, and feed tanker. Taken trucks down roads in the backwoods of west virginia that most drivers have nightmares about.

Was running feed to the local farms in southern west virginia but the guy i ran for had three trucks. I was his sons replacement and after his boy went to work elsewhere he ended up going towards bankruptcy. To make a long story short, i was given the boot and he took his son back...

I have a wife and three boys and am in desperate need of a job. We have a house near sanford north carolina that we need to have paid off so temporarily i am looking at having hometime there. Anyone here able to help me?

Hello my name is Ken. I live in High Point Nc, that's 67 miles from Sanford Nc on the NC-421. Im a non-smoker I do apologize. I have 8 yrs of experience OTR. I'm a 42 yr old married man myself with 4 children, so I can sympathize with your current situation. I run with Mercer Transportation dry van division. You would have to be able to meet there requirements to get on. I have a 2009 International Prostar 435 ISX Cummming Engine 13 speed are you familiar with a 13 speed shift pattern? I will attach there minimum requirements. You have the driving experience so I'm quit sure you know the driving record drill. Do you have your Hazmat and your TWIC. The TWIC they can help you get in orientation the hazmat you know the drill but depending on the out come with Mercer and orientation we can possibly work something out to help you get situated. I don't haul it alot but it's good to have when there is nothing else available in area. Im not sure just ask Ron if its manditory or can you run a little and then get it under your belt. I try to consistently haul for the major carriers out of Greenville Nc, Greenville or Charleston Sc or Berea Ky to California, Oregan or Washington and back to NC or Sc. But I pretty much run West Coast, Mid- West and Southern East Portion. No North East. What type of pay are you looking for? You can ask for Ron my recruiter 844-584-2242 and tell him my truck #16770. I'm willing to help you if I can. Ok good luck and God bless you and your family.
