I went there a year ago, good school, a bunch of good ole arkansas boys. Avg age is about 55. They are stern and yell a lot to correct, but don't take it personal, they are just from the old school way of thinking. I am ex military so didn't bother me, but some thin skinned guys got offended. And northern arkansas is a good place to drive, nice rolling hills and curves, good practice. Good thing too is by arkansas law you can get your CDL there then when you go home can transfer it, and the school has certified testers, so you test on the same course you have been driving for over 2 wks. Apartments you stay in are kinda shady but at least you have a place to sleep.
Who will you driver for? PAM, USA, Star?catseye Thanks this. -

Got the word today that Driver Solutions could not help me with my situation. Apparently they could not get someone to sponsor me. In any case I'll consider taking a course at a local college or driver training school here in Georgia. Does anyone know of any government sponsored programs (I'm a disabled vet, 10% rating), federal or state level? Let me know if a program is available, thanks in advance!!
