I did a 34 at the pilot off I-10
I'm walking to get food in that little strip mall n I'm stopped by some old lady n her grandchild.
She gives me the sob story. The kids need food. I give her $20.

Then starts crying saying I'm the only one to help them all day, the kids need medicine. I give her another $40.

Thrn her daughter comes over n they continue the sob story n keep asking for more.

Once they hit me with the "can you go to the ATM I'll pay you bacc" I knew what it was and walked away

I remember when my dad did a science experiment for us kids. Somehow he got some hookworms in a jar. Nasty little critters.

He put some of the worms in a glass of water. "See!!??? They LIVE."

Then he put the rest of the worms in a glass of vodka. They died quickly. "See!!?? If you want to kill parasites, then drink vodka!"

After that, anytime my dad was into a bottle, he'd just look at us kids and say, "Parasites"! We just laughed.

It wasn't until years later I caught on that MAYBE there was a double entendre there...
