    No its about clean watts not max watts...
    Its like stereos...
    Crankem all the way and its distorted and sounds like crap...Turn same stereo back 25% or so then it works better over a longer life..

    Got burned today by an ######## in a trailer in Bloomington IL. I could hear fine before a peak and tune on a dx959. Can't hear anybody unless they're close now. Super pissed.
