Sometimes the the lazy piece of ####s do it that way just so they don't have to use a siphon hose and get a mouth full of diesel.

 

I did that with German Shepherds ( Gunner & Max ) when I lived in the upper ghetto.
I did not however consider the " friendly fire " aspect. As they turned the couch & two of the dining room chairs into tooth picks, and was working on my rear deck, but coated with this anti chew pepper stuff.
