All of you out there running a step or flat need to tell these brokers enough is enough we do not need to be throwing chains and tarps for less than 2.50 a mile if you are you are your crazy!!!!!! If we all tell them we are not running Landscape ######## rates and sit out a week they might get the picture. Anybody agree

People justify it all the time with "at least it covers my fuel" but they don't realize theyre making the brokers mortgage, car, and wife payment off one load.

Of course they're the ones sitting on the side or the road with three cars and six people trying to get their truck running because they don't have money for maintenance

Aren't they accepting cheap freight to run them to better freight. Isn't that the logic out there.

All my freight pays 3.00 p/mi, until you take high priced truckstop crap/brake downs/tolls/fuel/ferry/anguish from doing business in a foriegn land and all the other BS that goes along with driving truck. So I'm right there with ya.

I'm not arguing with what you say.

If you want to gain some traction with this thread post every rate con you accept so we can see you practice what you preach.

Lots of threads like this here and most of them are one post wonders or those that won't back up their statements.
