Why?

 

You will ride with a trainer for 300 driving hours. There are circumstances of needing extra time but most are good after 300 driving hours. This takes around 4-5 weeks with some trainers, 6 or so with others.
Hotels while with a mentor? No you team and your learning to be on the road.

Day one after your time with a Trainer you can bring your wife along. There is no time limit.

 

No Nw, very rarely Bay Area to grab a load, no Utah, Co, why, upper Midwest(we do run to Milwaukee and Chicago outskirts) no NE RARELY as high as Va.
No Florida either..

APU is nice.. I never idle my truck..

 

How are the trucks speced out? Bare minimum or o/o?

Do you have a pre plan before you're empty or do you have to wait for another load?

What's the avg miles per week/month? Run you one week sit the next?

 

One guy recently in Tampa area was hired, then when he was packing his bags to leave for orientation, they called and cancelled because of a speeding they found 15 over.

 

I don't know if this has been asked before, but does Danny Hermon require you to take a new DOT physical or will theu accept your current long form if it is fairly recent?

I have come to luv the looks of the Kenworth T680's, how do you Danny Herman drivers like them? Do they live well? By that I mean, are they workable to live out of, or are there features you wish Danny Herman had ordered when they spec'd these trucks?
