    hello,

    I am in the process of replacing my AC compressor, bought some refrigerant and pat oil, know my question is how much does the system take and how to add it?

    Any feedback is appreciated

    Drain the oil out of the old one and measure it. Now drain the oil from the new compressor into a clean container and put back the amount you measured from the old one plus one ounce for the new filter/drier you will install.

    It is also a good idea to install a new expansion valve or orifice tube... which ever your system has.

    You need to vaccuum the system before recharging it or it won't work very good or last very long

    Thare is a sticker on the firewall on driver side it tell you the amount of refrigerant and oil you need
