Mileage bonus 3 cents monthly AND quarterly, safety bonus quarterly and yearly penny a mile, fuel bonus monthly,

    Way more than .03 cents..

There is no magic money to be made.. you either work or you don't.. if you work you'll make money. Simple as that.. I'll go paycheck for pay check with this "terrible" pay with anyone..

Sir, I'm not trying to start anything. I spoke to CJ today. I'm guessing he was confused because he did not go into detail about the bonus programs. All he Said was 1c for fuel, 1c for safety, and 1c for miles. I'm just trying to get the facts that's all. I'm just researching the best I can before I make a decision.

Check out what one of your own previous drivers said about this company. Sitting around a whole day waiting on a load isn't the greatest. Screenshot_20161215-214739.png Screenshot_20161215-214739.png Screenshot_20161215-214739.png

    DHT Pros:
    - Freight Lanes
    - Office staff are all very friendly and helpful
    - Fuel stop is your choice (but you must pick from a list of approved)
    - No northeast/northwest (could be a con if you live there)
    - 24/7 Hotline/Dispatch
    - Longer trips (usually >1200 mi) so don't expect to be home every weekend
    - DHT does not carry chains, so no mountain states
    DHT Cons:
    - Pay is average
    - There are some Freightliners in the fleet; mine has ~500K on it but the Detroit may be less problematic than the Paccar in the KW's
    - You may have to wait for a truck to open up after training/orientation
    - Not a lot a variety in routes (Everything seems to originate or deliver to Calexico, Laredo, Nogales, or El Paso) but some may like this - especially in winter.

    Hope this helps.

You're in a dream land if you think you won't sit around for a day at other companies.. #### happens. Hell I've sat two days before.. most people as in one of your reviewers #####es moans and complains.. I made $200 sitting which I reset my hours on. That allows me to run longer and harder again and I was paid to reset!

Every driver thinks the grass is greener on the other side. This forum is full of people who quit a company for that elusive better job! You can read all the reviews you want. I took home over $52k as a solo driver, after taxes, after insurance and after contributing to my 401k. That's over $1k a week average take home.. im home for 6-8 days each month!

I meet plenty of people who don't make money at this very company.. when I start quizzing them on why I understand.. 8-9 hour a day drivers. Only drive during the day. Don't take 10 hour breaks they take 12. Load delivers in 4 days they take 4 days instead of getting it dropped in a yard in 2 1/2 -3 days...

Learn to work the company and. It sit back and do nothing you'll make great money. I have NEVER missed a mileage bonus. I usually run 13-14k a month

Your not waiting more then a day for a truck. If not they are loading you up and you'll drive to get one getting paid solo miles running team.. so you'll bank money on that trip..
