Guys fueling up their truck and driving off

I had a girlfriend that said I was the only person she knew that could gas up the car and Not smell like gasoline afterwards.
Apparently everyone she knew thought you were supposed to hold on to the trigger until it splashes out at you, as opposed to easing off as you hear it get near the top.

 

I understand they're handing these out with every new CDL...

I have four packs of similar items in my truck because I refuse to clean myself with a rag.

 

Well this calls attention to another point.

At what point do you consider your gloves so saturated and dirty that you abandon them at the fuel island?

 

Unless you are a co-driver why do you even concern yourself? Correct me if I am wrong but I think there are more important slob truck driver actions to comment on (piss bottles for example). If you were complaining about somebody's poor hygiene (taking a dump and leaving the restroom w/o washing hands) I could understand.

 

Who doesn't use piss bottles?

 

Of all the things someone could complain about, not wearing gloves or not washing after fueling is the best thing you could come up with?

Keep pulling that box down the road with your flip flops and sleep pants on. You would never make it pulling tanks or any type of open deck. And for the sake of your manicure, don't become an O/O.

A month ago I'd have said you were full of ####. Then I drove through the cardlock a couple weeks ago and seen a gravel hauler taking a whiz between his rear tire and mudflap. Just SMH as I drove past.
