    You aren't going to take $900 OTR take home this time of year; the seasonal surge is over. You are in the start of the seasonal lull.

    Finding any trucking job this time of year is tough.

    ^^^ After the 1st of the year the megas slow down the seasonal surge and they start firing drivers for 'safety violations'. Same as laying drivers off, only with just cause they don't have to pay unemployment.

    Some megas keep hire while the firing is going on, but everybody is in a slowdown mode. Their are jobs out their but the job market is saturated this time of year.
