Truth. You're left with a truck, some memories, maybe the dog and likely lessening health.Ooops Thanks this.

He said 900 a week take home which the gross amount will vary depending what state he lives in to achieve that. Later it was revealed 56k is the gross amount he is after. Maybe I'm different but I prefer to compare the gross amount rather than the take home amount because everyone's tax situation is different.
freemouthhere, redoctober83, TruckDrivingtn and 1 other person Thank this. -
In Arkansas Ive learned not to gross more than 19K because state taxes and federal taxes on wages greater than that amount is not worth the extra above and beyond with hourly wage work. OTR trucking I can live on as little as 500 a month net but enjoyed upwards of 800 to 1500 weekly depending on situation. Savings is always set aside against those weeks with no miles or if a company decides to starve me out as they have tried to do in the past. I have no debts to speak of, house is paid, cars are paid, land is paid utilities are a minor annoyance about a hundred a month max... OTR is easy.

big money for what? to spend big money and have to go out and make more hig money? i would focus on where u can make the most money for the least amount of work. theres only so much you can make in trucking, i would spend your time on where you can make the most money with the most free time available to spend that free time finding other ways of making money or doing somthin u have passion for, thats where the big money is
freemouthhere Thanks this. -
the big money is in casinos where most truckers spend their money lol
freemouthhere Thanks this. -
Not this trucker. Not anymore. I love the tables as much as anyone and essentially broke even overall.

I have four kids as well but I don't have a house payment or car payment. I bought a used mobile home one year and just rented a lot until a few years later when I put a down payment on five acres in 2012 with $137 payment which will be paid off this coming year. I plan to get a better place to put on my land in the future but after I have saved up so for now all my bills come to about $1,000 a month including groceries .RollingRecaps and redoctober83 Thank this.
