One thing i forgot to mention was that everything was working fine until we hit cold days, the temperatures were around 12-25 degrees. After that the cranking problem started, could it be the batteries?
-
Going to replace that while i am at it as well, those would be the SRS and TRS sensors?
-
did you check for any codes?
-
Not sure whatthet are called but I had hard starting just out of the blue. That's was the problem
-
Marginal or weak batteries on a Detroit can make it hard to start. But I would still check fuel lines for sucking or pressure loss in cold temps to exaggerate poor fuel supply problems. Fuel being a little thicker and harder to pull into filters and push to injectors.

The issue was resolved, sorry for talking so long to respond.
Here is what I replaced with no luck:
- Diesel filter
- Fuel Check valve
- TRS/SRS sensors
- Batteries
After replacing the injectors it turned on, on the first attempt every single time.Last edited: Apr 7, 2017
passingthru69, BoxCarKidd, Smellfunny and 2 others Thank this. -
One of the three here would do that when parked over night but it would not start.that fast. Could see bubbles in the fuel tank return line when running. Replaced injector seals, no problem for two years.

The same thing happened to me one injector leaking
