i do my pre trip when i stop, why would anyone want to wake up and check everything only to find somthin wrong when its time to get down the road? then before i leave i just make sure no fluids leaked in the nite and the tires havnt lost psi. i mean who would b at home for a few days then get a load that has to be picked up that day only to check everything and have somthin that needs attention when you couldv checked everything out before you took your time off and had plenty of time to address it. other than somthin that could happen while the truck sits such as the fluids or psi, i would think companies would prefer you do a thorough inspection when you stop then just check the basics before you head out, but thats me, maybe i like to do things that make sense.
Pre-tripping in the dark?
