We are the shipper. We have our own product.
I'd like to keep this lane, but few companies run to the North West.
I don't hate this company, only what it has become over the last 4 months. Many of us miss our previous manager.

Ah ok. Between a rock and a hard place then really ...
Sounds like it won't be too long before the new manager annoys enough people and eventually runs the place into the ground. -
My friends have told me to wait it out. He'll probably be gone soon enough when the company realizes what's going on.
I don't want to wait it out, but I will make it known that I'd like to return. -
If he's really that bad, he'll be gone before long. And you won't make 84k doing any of the office work you are looking at. You'll be doing good to get half that.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
If I were in your shoes the first thing I would do is talk to your manager's boss. Let him/her know that there are a number of drivers that think the way you do. That's the best chance you have to help salvage the situation AND perhaps the company.
Your bosses boss may not have a clue what is happening. Let them know and right soon.
From your profile I see you are in Indiana. If the fecal tissue hits the spinning blades, then perhaps the ALL KNOWING @Chinatown could chime in with Plan B. -
Our general manager won't return my phone calls.
The Prez and vice-prez left last year to start their own company in the same industry. -

Track them down, maybe they could use you.Chewy352, Pintlehook, Crusader66 and 3 others Thank this.

Oof! THAT should be your HUGE red flag right THERE! If the proverbial rats are leaving the ship, then you really don't have much time to get off ship yourself. Don't be the Arrow driver stuck in Lower ####sville because you didn't get the memo that your company is about to tank.
It may be an uncomfortable way to start the new year, but you seriously need to start looking for another job.6daysontheroad and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
They only have two box trucks and a maybe 25 employees. I keep meaning to go over there, but I keep forgetting.
