Lol and Lol again...
but hey, whatever works for ya Lol

It stays put and compresses the pedal just enough to keep those ##### engine kill lights from blinking at you.

The best way is to purchase your own truck or drive for a company that let's you idle.
-
The one simple device you can make and carry with you in the truck:
Buy a turn signal relay. Cost $20 at FJ. Connect 2 wires to that thing.
Then find a diagnostic 9-pin plug - in cascadia it's right by the clutch pedal.
While the truck idling, stick one wire in top hole of that plug, the other in the right hole. Like 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock.
The relay will start switching on and off, you will hear some beeping and your dashboard will be flashing too ...BUT the truck will be idling until you pull this thing out of there.
I did this with last company I worked for - they did not have APU and this heater was glitching constantly.
I stayed nice and warm on my break with this device
Then when I got back to a DC one night they gave me a loaner truck and my truck went to a shop.
I called the shop next day - they said " we still chasing a faulty wire"passingthru69, Ooops, JReding and 2 others Thank this. -
