What are you going to get your significant other for Xmas?

With all the hassle that myself and our two little boys put my wife through I usually end up getting her one of those hour long hot stone massage gift cards for one of those day spas. She really likes that it's all for her and this way I'm hoping they can massage the aggravation away. LOL

 

Wife got a blue topaz necklace and a few smaller gifts.

She bought me a Fitbit. I put it on in anticipation.


The screen lit up with "ROFLMAO".

 

We repainted the full bath. ceiling one coat. walls 2 coats. trim repainted. replaced those godawful wire shelves with old school 1x2 wood supports and plank shelves. new wall mount cabinet over the toilet, new curved shower rod and inner/outer curtains. replaced the hinges and door knob.

couple months ago we replaced the ceiling fan with a modern one, it has a nightlight, regular light, the fan, and a bluetooth stereo speakers.

we are looking for a sink base to go with the table top sink she bought 4 months ago, and are discussing a new tub with tile surround.(original owners ripped out the tub and replaced it with an insert with surround by itself. dumb####s.)

 

I got mine about 30 hrs of quality time. Not a conventional gift but she understood me needing to pinch pennies to cover me through school and orientation.

 

We didn't do Christmas for each other - all for the spawn and their offspring. However, our anniversary (20 years...whoda thunk?) is coming up.

Looking at a tuner for his truck, now that we know the dang insurance company isn't gonna try to take it away from us. Now if he'd just make up his mind which one he wants... (also, new grips for his new 9mm (rosewood, carved with the EGA) and possibly Weathertech floor mats for the truck.)

 

So what are you getting for 20 years other than a boxer shorts gift?

 

I have a list...

I know he's getting me a cookbook that I wanted, but other than that, I'm not sure. He doesn't know about the stuff I'm getting him, only about the hotel and dinner.

Yes Congratulations. Some friends of mine went down to the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot for their 20th. They actually took me with em as well. Talk about a good time!
