I was there my truck was paid off and guess what..... no money they pay .67 of load you'll be lucky to stay current on your bill unless you pick the right agent you will fail and go broke. I don't recommend them go to landstar...

What do you mean? They pay 67 cents or 67% of the load? Also do you book your own loads with agents and if so how do you find those agents? Your insight is greatly appreciated.

Was with Pacer for 9 years before Universal bought em out 7-8 years ago. Still with Universal. You have to know how to work a computer and slowly you will get in with a few agents that keep you in the money. I have several agents that keep me going year round...as a matter of fact, I'm booked out until March 17 on a project starting end of next week with one of my agents.

Its like any other company, you have to build contacts. Dont come into it and expect to make killer cash....you gotta show your reliability to the folks that will keep you from starving, and that takes time. For the last 5 years, i work an average of 7-8 months a year and my 1099 has never gone under 200k.
