Must've not been a union lumper company. Lately, I paid 100 for pulling out 4 pallets. They had to further break them down into 6. (30 min job) A fresh immigrant would've done it for 30. Hell, I would have done it for 30 too, but it was 4 am and I felt too sleepy and I am not a fresh immigrant either.

FYI - Any business owner that accepts driver written receipts just put a flashing red light on their head for the IRS to see. Hello Audit. From that audit they will move to the driver who wrote the receipt. Yes, it sounds like easy money until the suits show up at the door. This happens a lot with new guys that think they have just come up with the greatest tax free cash scheme in history. There is no such thing.

I agree with you .. if the driver take out the load have nice day for the driver no get pay anything from the shipper because no lumper receipt . Before the driver plan to make some money from unloading the truck should be deal with his company or with the shipper make sure get pay for that . One time after I parked to drop the load they asked me for lumper fees $100 my company told me do it I told my company no proof will help me if I unload the trailer no receipt for the shipper sorry can't do is gonna be free unload company said you right may shipper will not pay for that ..
So always make sure for all the drives
To ask your company before unload
