So I got my CDL with endorsements back in November and planning on going with Prime tanker for my first year. Anyone know good companies to look at after I get my year in? Or a better company that will hire me straight out of school? I'm in Chicago

Try Carry in Bridgeview, they are part of Superior carriers, superior trains so maybe Carry will also.
Also maybe try Foodliner
Scheinder trains but Chemicals
Why food grade?AntDogg619 Thanks this. -
Thanks, Shady. I'll call them Monday and see what's up. I just don't want to deal with hazmat

Which school did you go to for your CDL?

If you don't want to deal with hazmat, there are a few food grade companies that haul some placarded materials, such as alcohol and acids. Langers and Oakley come to mind.
-
You might consider AG trucking out of Goshen In. Food grade only and they have an office in Chicago. Smaller company than a mega.AntDogg619 and slim shady Thank this.

Pretty good company, Aside from those driver facing camera's -
Cool, thanks. Says I need 2 years experience. I'll definitely consider them when I get that

@Chinatown recommends applying to those companies who want experience, even if you have none. I plan on doing so once I get my CDL. The way I see if, even if they say no initially, they've already got my name on file and possibly an open door in the future.
