I have a tempte trailer that three led lights out of the five lights on one side have quite working.....the front two are still working...the center light is the blinker light. it and the other two down stream tword the rear of the trailer a yellow and a red light are not working....when I turn on the blinker all three blink although the ones that are not blinkers are real dim. is this a short in the blinker light circuit board or is it a wiring issue.

sounds like a ground issue, could be the pigtail or the receptacle on the trailer. open them up,look for the green crusties. probably need to cut and reinsert the wire ends on the receptacle. then pack it with grease.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
LED lights are more sensitive to low voltage & bad grounds then incandescent lights. Though it seems that there is a ground problem. Check the ground stud at the seven way light box. If it's a newer trailer follow the harnesses for the problem lights. These days they break up the wire cables into replaceable lengths and they tend to have bad contact at the plugs

With the blinking with the turn signal you can bet it is a ground issue. Probably not some fancy circuit board to replace but may be hard to find. Did you check at the plug on the inside of the front of the trailer, crawl up under that front hopper bottom and wiggle. That has caused us some issues with an older timpte. It can be hard to keep that plug firmly connected.

Also I assume that it did not get better just by driving it a while. It is super common for us to have weak ground when first hooking up to timpte. All or many lights blink with turn signal ext. then we drive it a little and it is fine. Don't know if it starts grounding through the hitch better or what?
