So far I've had 4 prescriptions and all they've done is make it worse.

You were prescribed the medication. If it shows up you simple show them the bottle with the label showing it was prescribed. It is like any other medication, just keep the bottle.

Could be pneumonia. My daughter had a bad cough for several weeks and finally had an chest x-ray. It was pneumonia. Robitussin (over the counter) and Cefdinir got rid of it. If you take Robitussin since it is across the counter I would let safety know so that they have it on file you are taking it for a cough. It did not hamper a 5 yr old nor did the Cefdinir.

What medications disqualify a CMV driver?

A driver cannot take a controlled substance or prescription medication without a prescription from a licensed practitioner.
If a driver uses a drug identified in 21 CFR 1308.11 (391.42(b)(12)) or any other substance such as amphetamine, a narcotic, or any other habit forming drug, The driver is medically unqualified.
There is an exception: the prescribing doctor can write that the driver is safe to be a commercial driver while taking the medication. In this case, the Medical Examiner may, but does not have to certify the driver.
Any anti-seizure medication used for the prevention of seizures is disqualifying.
    Methadone use is disqualifying.
The Medical Examiner has 2 ways to determine if any medication a driver uses will adversely affect safe operation of a CMV:
    1. Review each medication - prescription, non-prescription and supplement
    2. Request a letter from the prescribing doctor

Codine will stay in your hair up to 90 days, your mouth 4 or 5 days, your urine a few days. Your blood in 12 hours.

If taken for pleasure and tolerance has built up, withdrawls last 5 to 10 days.

It is the second most abused substance behind other opium products such as Oxycodone, Morphine etc. which are also schedule two drugs.

Im a pain patient also and will take medicine until I die however long or short that is, I dont carry a CDL anymore on purpose to avoid any issues if I got pulled over. It will show up hot on whatever is adminsitered to me.

Schedule one medicine when given automatically and mandatory ban for driving or legal etc. You would be lucky to remember your name on some of that heavy duty stuff on that schedule.

    Yea those hurt.

Putting people to coma or sleep stops all pain, but that is not living. The best cure is to go in and fix the problem. They cannot always do that with medical knowledge.

I think you'll find out that schedule 1 medication is not prescribed to anyone. Schedule 1 is a drug that has not medical value.
