Its more about how many miles a week then of course the added benefits like detention, layover but you still need good miles for the benefits to mean anything.

.35cpm to run 48. Plus a monthly mileage bonus which doesn't equate to much.

When I was in school, the recruiter was very good at avoiding the question. "Well every account pays differently", etc.

Some of their dedicated accts might pay more for the mile, but you spend little time driving and 6 stops unloading a 53'er. They're always trying to find people to work the Family Dollar Rome, NY account - break your back for a pittance, go home on the weekend for a mere 34-reset and back to killing yourself. This is, per the Safety guy in Allentown 'Werner's most hazardous account' safety-wise... nothing like hard-backs in the ghetto.

There are other more drop&hook oriented accounts - but when people get on them they usually don't leave unless they leave the company - voluntarily, or not. My trainer ran dedicated Purdue reefers, been at it 10 years... You could tell too. He about #### himself anytime I got us lost. Lol. Now, if I'm not lost at least twice a week it seems I'm being deprived of excitement, lol.

Ah the old Werner rash. Hard to avoid when the guy who had the truck before you soiled the seat with his leaky poopshoot. Pro tip- when they assign you a truck carry it over to the shop and have them swap the passenger seat over to driver side; and pray the previous driver didn't have his 600# wife riding shotgun.

So Werner must be the last of the mega stars to not feature the driver facing cameras then? I will have to give them a double take then myself.
