That's good to hear. I don't know why I was thinking David name was Mike lol. What happened to him? Haven't been to the Lancaster yard in weeks. I just go right by it when I'm in Dallas.

How does FFE differ from KLLM these days? I remember KLLM bought them because it was cheaper to acquire FFE's LTL infrastructure than to build one from scratch. I assume FFE is the LTL side, but I only see OTR trucks.

Ffe is muti drops terminal to terminal. Kllm don't have as many muti drops and we deal directly with the customers. Also students at kllm started at 34 while ffe started at 31.

This week has been the slowest I've ever had, been waiting since Sunday for a load, I've talked to some other drivers and they have said the same, that's on the FFE side, the Kllm drivers I've talked too said they haven't had any issues this week.

    Teion Thanks this.

I believe David was planning on leaving, they had a going away party for him, so I know he didn't leave on bad terms.

I was running with an ffe driver. And he was saying the same. Also on one of the fb groups some were saying they are waiting way to long with out a load.

Anybody ever get the fuel nozzle stuck in the reefer tank? I sure did lol. It took me almost 30 mins before I could get it out. Made my delivery in Decatur this morning. My next load picked up in Memphis. Get there and the guy tells me my load was picked up yesterday. But they do have another load. So got with dispatch. Was given a new pu number. Going to the same place in Columbus Ohio. Hopefully kllm doesn't have a slow down.

    Kevin247 and G13Tomcat Thank this.

Just like boot camp the training is nothing compared to being out there in the real battle that's where you really learn how things are done. School does not teach you how to deal with 1. cranky dispatches, 2. cranky receivers, 3. Bad weather, 4. Getting you load delivered on time, 5. How to follow the right road route directions to delivery point 6. Coping with being away from home for long periods of time etc etc.

Just don't forget the yellow button on the fuel island for the DEF.... LoLoL....
Would like to know HOW the heck you got it stuck?!???? I haven't hauled reefers for MANY years.... but I just can't get a visual; unless you are really short like my wife, and had a compromised catwalk>?? Just wondering...
