UPDATE Finally figured it out. Someone was kind enought to put out a cigar in the fuel tank at some point at my wits end pulled off every single fuel line off the engine and found tobacco leave in the line between the ecm cooler and the fuel filter housing. just took it for a test drive and no more issues everything is perfect. If you are having fuel problems and you have separator mounted on the bottom its worth it to check all the lines. people are ####ty and they put all kinds of #### in the tanks when noone is looking. Just cost this guy #### near $6000 in repairs to the fuel system cuz someone was being an A S S

tho at the bottom of the pickup theres a mesh gauze about 8 inchs long and the other two have mesh aswell so how can that be that a cigarette but went up line unless the pickup is nt volvo or volvo aftermarket

yh right cause all our 40+ volvo come standard with a gauze inside the pickup

well whatever the case is had it or not i could not cut the tank to see it, but the fact is that somehow this #### get in the fuel line make it past ecm cooler and got stuck in line. truck is running like hell now pulling and everything with no issues

we have a fuel pick up thats the height of the tank it has 3 or 4 pipes and it sucks from there but thats over here in aus
