That's still up for debate.scythe08 Thanks this.

As an outsider looking in, what i find hard to believe is people think that week was good enough to doubt it happened.CJndaTruck, scythe08 and sealevel Thank this.

It's 300 for the mc number, you don't have to activate it until you are ready to. That's when you need the insurance. Expect insurance to run between 12k to 24k depending on your record and location, most insurance carriers will do 20% down and monthly payments on the balance.drvrtech77 and mxpx148 Thank this.

Only reason there's doubt is we see the load board and know Schneider.
I know those numbers can be done but out of orientation having to log orientation and then run 3k miles in 5 days no hiccups at schneider is highly skeptical for the very 1st week.
However I'll give the benefit of the doubt. -
If it's true or not isn't really the point of what i was saying. My point was its crazy things are so bad over there for you guys that there is doubt when someone posts numbers that most of us would consider rather blah. I mean, it keeps the rent paid, but certainly isn't good enough to be excited about, or even proud of.

Ummm wait a minute.. you run flat so it's kind of no comparison. But 4800 grossing in 5 days if you ran right you you're bringing home over 3k in a week..I don't know too many O/O doing that.. Matter fact most say they're happy with 2500 or more net every week
-
I left the drop yard there probably thirty minutes before the storms hit yesterday.
-
I'd be dancing a jig if I could net 15-1800/week consistently without living in the truck full time at this point...
-
It's all money that hits the bank so i think it's a fair comparison. I never cared what kind of trailer was behind my truck. I only care about what the load pays. Heck one of my best customers is power only.
What makes it blah imo isn't the gross, or even the "being home" number. It's how many miles it took to get them. Like i said, it's not exactly a bad week, but certainly not a very good one either.
Edit: And ya im happy with 2500 "bring home" but only cause it's on low miles and I'm sleeping in my own bed every night(slept in the truck ONCE this year, and i could of gone home that night but would of had to get up so early i knew i wouldn't get but a 2 hours of sleep and i was pretty darn tired). If I'm gonna leave the house and go deal with that frozen hell you guys call winter, it's gonna be for a heck of a lot more than i can make here in my back yard.Last edited: Jan 23, 2017
