My truck currently has a manual driver side window and electric passenger side. Drive side regulator needs to be replaced so I'm thinking about converting it to electric.
Has anyone here done this? Don't care about the express/auto feature.

I think the mechanical part would be quite easy if you get yourself a complete donar door to get all the pieces you need.
The bigger question would be is if all the wiring is there in the door pillar to make it work.
My guess would be the wiring would be there.
Most manufactures like to make models and options as universal as possible to save on production costs. -
The wiring is the part I'm worried about
-
Is there any electric connected to the door at all?
Like power mirrors or anything? -
Has contols for power passenger side window and mirror plus mirror heat
-
I would guess your electric harness to the door would be universal then and would contain the necessary wireing for the driver power window.
Could you pull the rubber boot back and get a count on wires and color designation? -
Wire count yes but I believe they are all the same color with different codes stamped on them.

I could check my truck that has driver power window but I am in ny and my truck is in Bradenton fl.
I am headed to fl. tomorrow morning early by car but probably won't get there till Friday and I could check then. -
That would be helpful when you get a chance. I live in Florida and having a broken regulator and broken AC dont go to we'll down here. Atleast it's been nice the past few days
