Millis Transfer training school

So a non trucking company is going to pay for a refresher course, and then you want to come to Millis or another company? Am I understanding that correctly?

 

They have a T/T regional/ dedicated route that became available because the driver was forced to retire due too health issues. They r willing to pay for a refreshers course. Since I don't have any experience in T/T. Will a refreshers course be enough. Thxs

 

if I decide to stay with company I will not be going to millis. Unless it doesn't work out.

 

If that company is willing to pay for a refresher course then I'm assuming they are saying it's enough....it wouldn't be enough with millis etc you would still have to go thru their schooling

 

Thxs 98, I wouldn't mind going thru millis training because it's top notch. Just was thinking about this company if I take the job will a refresher be enough. Thxs sorry for repeating myself.

 

I spoke with the owner he is willing too pay for a refreshers course and pay me for being there.

 

What is the deal with high blood pressure. Mine is slightly high, but with medication everyday, it is normal. I just passed my NY permit test and my DOT physical and drug test. Could my slightly high blood pressure and having to take medication everyday hang me up ?

I'm visiting a school close to me tomorrow in New York, but I sent an email to Millis inquiring about more information. Sounds like a great school. I'm doing my due diligence now, before I decide.
