Cummins CM2250 question

    New here. I'm an o/o. I've got 3 trucks looking at adding a 4th. What's the typical life expectancy for a cm2250? It's got 588k miles on it. It's in a 2012 W900L. And where's a good place I can look up the serial # to see the history on it? My Cummins dealer was of no help to me today. I've got a 2012 389 with a 2250 in it with 345k on it and a T-800 with a cm871. I'm new to the 2250s.

    Depends on how is was taken care of. Make sure to check the fuel pump plungers. Ceramic plunger are know to fail on that motor. Check idle time the less the better.
