Ive got a dedicated run up to NYC. I gotta say, I love it. Sure, traffic picks up on the NJTP, and the GW can take 10 minutes or two hours depending on what's going on but drivers are pretty courteous and they drive a hell of a lot better (more sense) than drivers in the south.
I'm hanging onto this run til I die or the company loses the contract.
New York City is not that bad- it's just traffic

NYC is not all that bad. In my opinion the biggest drawback is the condition of the roads. It beats your vehicle up... motorcycle, car or truck. Bicycle for that matter.
Protein Hauler, Crusader66 and bzinger Thank this. -
Every time I went up through there, coming off the GWB, I had to either replace a mirror or a mud flap on or something that fell off when I hit those HUGE pot holes at the bottom of the bridge.
I took my wife there once, had to deliver in Manhattan at 8 am and she got to spot a few entertainers walking around but she could not believe what the traffic was like, she said it is worse than LA.Crusader66 Thanks this. -
And cops there leave truck drivers alone for the most part .
Crusader66 Thanks this. -
Nooo! L.A. wins that race by a country mile. NYC has nothing on LA when it comes to traffic.
